Wandoor, Dec. 22: The Birth Anniversary of Dr. Srinivas Ramanujam the Great Mathematician of India was celebrated at Govt. Middle School, Wandoor today. As part of the celebration, the life history & achievements made by Dr. Srinivas Ramanujam was highlighted to the students. An Anti- Superstition show was also organized for the students. The programme was specially designed to educate the rural student by unraveling the scientific phenomena working behind each magic.

Thereafter, with a view to inculcate the spirit of inquisitiveness and to develop scientific temper among the students, the Mobile Science Exhibition bus fitted with science exhibits was placed on display in the school campus. The students alongwith their teachers showed keen interest to know the scientific phenomena behind each exhibit/model.
