Port Blair, Dec. 29: Police Station Aberdeen staff have cracked a blind burglary case, which occurred at the residence of a senior citizen. The accused has been arrested and stolen articles recovered within 24 hours.

A burglary case was reported at PS Aberdeen that on 27/12/2022 a sum of Rs. 30,000/- has been stolen from the house of the complainant by breaking the door by some unknown persons. Upon the complaint, an FIR Vide No 234/2022 dated 27/12/2022 U/s 454/380 IPC was registered and immediately a team comprising of SI R. Dhiraj Kishen (IO), HC Sunil Singh Yadav, PCs Sandeep Lakra, Asish Singh and Shiv Kumar was constituted under the supervision of Insp. Girish Kumar, SHO PS Aberdeen for the search of accused person and stolen money.

The team working professionally swung into action and nabbed the accused person namely V. Eshwar S/o Shri P.S. Venkatesan (32) yrs, Pvt. Electrician R/o behind Youth Hostel and recovered the stolen cash & articles which he had purchased from the stolen money.

The entire investigation took place under the overall supervision of Sh. Arshdeep Singh Panwar, DANIPS, Sub Divisional Police Officer, South Andaman.
