Port Blair, Jan 17: In commemoration of the diverse harvest festival being celebrated all across the country, Society for Promotion of Serve Humanity Among Youths (SPARSHA) in association with Sai Youth Club Shore Point conducted an open to all Rangoli Competition. All together 12 contestants from different age groups participated in the competition held on 14th Jan 2023 at Sri Ram Mandir Complex, Shore Point. Shri M K Sundaram Ex-Zilla Parishad Member, Shri K Balakrishna Pradhan GP Shoal Bay and Shri Debkumar Bhadra President SPARSHA judged the rangoli put up by the contestants.
Miss C Kavitha was declared First, Miss D Pramila stood Second and Miss P Poojitha was adjudged Third in the competition. Valedictory function was conducted coinciding Makara Sankranti Celebration at Ranchi Basti Playground on 15 Jan, 2023. Prize and Certificate were given to the winners and Consolation prize were given to other contestants for their participation in the competition.
The valedictory function was graced by a large number of villagers including Pradhan and Up-Pradhan GP Shore Point, President, Vice President, other officer bearers and members of SPARSHA, Sai Youth Club, Sahodara Yuvajana Sangam Bambooflat. Shri K Suresh representing Pyramid Meditation was also present among other guests and dignitaries. Shri K Neela Kantam conducted the program as its compere.
