Port Blair, Feb 14: A proud moment for Islanders as R Kashthuri Bhai, a class VIII student of GDMS Middle Point, Port Blair has become eligible to participate in the World School Chess Championship 2023 scheduled to be held in Rhodes, Greece from 13 to 23 April 2023 under the auspices of the World Chess Federation (FIDE).
She recently participated in the 11th National Schools Under 17 Girls Chess Championship 2023 held in Hosur, Tamilnadu from 27.01.2023 to 31.01.2023 and secured Third Position thus becoming eligible to participate in the prestigious World School Chess Championship 2023 to be held in Greece.
