This event was also organized in the Andaman & Nicobar Islands at the reservoir of Joda kalan, Sippighat, Port Blair.

The main objective of this project is to plan and implement various activities to be adopted for water conservation and its protection and to make the local people aware of the cleanliness of the water bodies.

In the inaugural session, Satguru Mata Sudiksha Ji Maharaj emphasized the importance of water in living creatures on earth. She quoted that God has given us this nectar-like water, so it is our duty to take care of it in the same way. Along with clean water, it is very important to have a clean mind as well, because with this spirit we do charity work for all while living the life of saints.

The volunteers from all the branches of Nirankari Mission located in Andaman & Nicobar took participation in this campaign of cleanliness with dedication, enthusiasm and modesty. Along with this, the PRI members of Sippighat Gram Panchayat also gave full cooperation for the campaign. The volunteers collected plastic, garbage and waste material more than 2 trucks from the area and transported through municipal trucks to its dumping station.

At the end of the programme, the PRI members and villagers praised the mission and also expressed their heartfelt gratitude to Satguru Mata ji and said that the mission has implemented these welfare projects like water conservation and cleanliness of water bodies to avoid water crises. This is definitely a positive step for the upliftment of the society.
