Port Blair, Mar. 12: All those APL beneficiaries who have not seeded their Aadhaar number in their respective ration cards have been informed that the time period for seeding of Aadhaar number has been extended till 16th March, 2023. Hence, all such APL ration card holders who have not yet seeded their Aadhaar may get their Aadhaar number seeded before 16th March failing which the unseeded members shall be consider bogus & the ration card to which such members are attached will be deactivated.
However, the de-activated /deleted person/ration card can be considered for re-activation/addition subject to submission of Aadhaar number in person. Further, all those members who could not seed their Aadhaar numbers due to non-enrollment of Aadhaar have been requested to get their name enrolled immediately.
The list of such un-seeded members have been provided in the respective Fair Price Shop for the connivance of the ration card holders.
