Port Blair, March 19: The National General Secretary of Rashtriya Rajya Karmachari Mahasangh (RRKMS), Shri. Vishnu Prasad Verma visited these Islands on 17th March 2023 to review the settlement of the working class raised after the settlement of the protests.
The General Secretary, RRKMS first visited the Cellular Jail and paid homage to the freedom fighters. On 19th a programme was conducted at Saraswati Shishu Mandir to introduce the National General Secretary in which Shri. Vijay Kumar, Vice President, Andaman Nicobar Rajya Karmachari Mahasangh (ANRKM) welcomed the gathering and presence.
All affiliated associations presented the report of activities. After submission of the report, Shri. S. Biju Pillai, General Secretary of ANRKM presented the burning issues of Govt. Sector. Shri. Vishnu Prasad Verma in his address appealed all to strengthen the organisation and always stay united. It was also declared by the National General Secretary that in the month of November National Executive Meeting of Rashtriya Rajya Karmachari Mahasangh, BMS will be conducted in Port Blair.
Shri. Jaydeep Kumar Dey, President, ANRKM expressed gratitude to the National Secretary for having visited these Islands on an appeal of working class to gather the ready to hand information for onward submission at National Level. Shri. Vijay Nair presented the Vote of Thanks to all present members and especially to Shri. Vishnu Prasad Verma.
