Port Blair, March 27: Under the National Programme for Control of Blindness & Visual Impairment, the Community Ophthalmology, Dr. R. P. Centre for Ophthalmic Sciences, All India Institute of Medical Sciences, New Delhi will be conducting Trachomatous Trichiasis Survey in the population of 15 years and above age group in 200 Districts across India, in order to get validation for Trachoma elimination in India as per the direction of the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Government of India.

As part of the Survey, a 12 Member’s team from Dr. R. P. Centre, AIIMS will be conducting survey at  Car Nicobar, North Andaman and South Andaman for the TT Survey with effect from 30th March, 2023 to 9th  April 2023 in the following selected villages/ wards. All persons of 15 years and above age group will be enumerated for further examination.
