Port Blair, March 27: Several youths belonging to various local youth associations joined Congress Party here on Monday under the leadership of ANTCC President Mr. Rangalal Halder and ANTCC Campaign Committee Chairman Mr. G Bhasker to strengthen the hands of Congress leader Mr. Rahul Gandhi.

The joining was held in the presence of City Congress President Mr. Mohd. Zubair, NSUI State President Mr. M.A Sajid, Chairman Adivasi Congress Mr. Sebastian Tirkey, Ex-DCC leader Mr. Abdul Shabir and Congress leader Mr. Sai Prasad. The new entrants reposed their faith in the programmes and policies of Congress Party.

Halder and Bhasker welcomed the youths who joined the party and called upon them to serve the Islanders and strengthen the party.
