Port Blair, June 12: It is to inform that Physical Measurement and Endurance Test for various posts of A&N Police will be held at Netaji stadium from 14/06/2023 to 06/07/2023. In this regard, the following diversions have been made and will be carried out in between 0500 hrs to 1400 hrs:
- No vehicles will be allowed around the stadium road i.e Dharamsala Junction to Y-Narayan Junction, Scout Hut to Y-Narayan Junction/Girls School and Girls School junction to Dharamsala during the Physical Measurement and Endurance Test.
- Diversions will be made at RK Mission, Fire Brigade Junction, Y-Narayan Junction, Police Masjid and Dignabad tri- Junction. No vehicles will be allowed towards the mentioned diversion points.
- Two-way traffic will be permitted for all types of vehicles from Y-Narayan junction to Cellular Jail and vice versa. No vehicles will be permitted to proceed towards Water Sports Complex via Khan Junction from GB Pant Hospital/Cellular Jail.
- The candidates who will appear for the above Physical Measurement and Endurance Test shall park their vehicles at Girls School parking and Aberdeen Bazaar parking area.
Hence, the general public are requested to cooperate with traffic police during duty hours.
