Port Blair, June 25: A&N Police is proud to announce the successful arrangement of a captivating motorcycle rally to commemorate the International Day against Drug Abuse and Illicit Trafficking. The event, flagged off by the Sh. Ajay Krishan Sharma, Deputy Inspector General of Police (Headquarters), brought together motorcycle enthusiasts, police personnel from various units of A&N Police and concerned citizens to raise awareness about the grave issue of drug abuse and illicit trafficking.

The rally, held on 25/06/2023, witnessed an impressive turnout of motorcycle riders from all walks of life. Members of the rally embarked on a thrilling journey through the city's streets, spreading the crucial message of a drug-free society. The thunderous roar of motorcycles echoed through the air, drawing attention and engaging the public in the cause. Approximately 85-90 bike riders of A& N Police participated in the said rally.

The Deputy Inspector General of Police (Headquarters) expressed his heartfelt appreciation for the participation and support received from the community. He highlighted the urgent need to combat drug abuse and illicit trafficking, emphasizing the role of public awareness and collective action in addressing this pressing issue.
