Port Blair, June 26: R Kashthuri Bhai, a student of GDMS Port Blair, an emerging chess player from A & N Islands will represent India in the 17^th Asian Schools Chess Championships 2023 scheduled to be held in Tashkent, Uzbekistan from 13^th July to 21^st July 2023.

She has been nominated as an official entry to represent India in Under 17 Girls Category for the upcoming 17^th Asian Schools Chess Championships 2023 to be held in Uzbekistan. She will be the first Chess players from Andaman & Nicobar Islands to represent India at International Platform.
