Port Blair, June 27: The Idea & Innovation Competition for all Units/Ships of the Andaman and Nicobar Command (ANC) was conducted on 27 Jun 2023 at Dweepika Auditorium. The event witnessed active participation by all the Components of ANC. A large number of operational & logistics ‘Ideas & innovations’ were displayed, which have been conceptualized by the Officers and men of the Command. The display was reviewed by Air Mshl Saju Balakrishnan, AVSM, VM, Commander-in-Chief, Andaman and Nicobar Command (CINCAN).

The CINCAN lauded the spirit and commendable efforts of the participants. He encouraged them to further improve upon the concepts and produce rugged and implementable solutions in line with technological advancements for utilisation by all the three Services and Coast Guard. He emphasized on the importance of keeping the innovative spirit within the Command alive in order to achieve the desired objective of providing a fillip to creative thinking in all ranks of the Andaman and Nicobar Command. The Idea & Innovation competition encourages the generation of innovative new products and technologies.
