Port Blair, July 3: With reference to the vacancy notice vide No. 4-13/2022-R&E Cell dated 29.04.2023 published by A&N Administration for filling up of the matric level posts of Constable (Driver) PMT, Assistant Mechanic (PC) PMT, Mechanic Helper (PC) PMT, Assistant Mechanic (PC) FS, Fitter Electrician (HC) PR, Diesel Mechanic PR & Follower Messenger PR in A&N  Police Department, candidates have been informed that the written test for additional subjects i.e. Computer Knowledge, Hindi, Motor Mechanism Trade, Fitter Electrician Trade and Diesel Mechanic Trade for qualified candidates in Physical Measurement & Endurance Test will be held at various centres in A&N Islands on 10/07/2023 and 11/07/2023.

Candidates have been directed to attend the written exam for these additional subjects with the same Admit Card issued by A&N Administration for common recruitment examination to be held on 09/07/2023 along with the Admit Card returned to candidates by A&N Police after successful completion of Physical Measurement & Endurance Test, and Document Verification, and which have the impression of “Qualified” in the result column. Both the Admit Cards are mandatory to be shown at the entry gate and to the invigilators at the examination hall to participate in the Written Examination for additional subjects.

The list of candidates who have qualified in the Physical Measurement & Endurance Test and Document Verification and who are eligible for written test of additional subjects for the post of Constable (Driver) PMT, Assistant Mechanic (PC) PMT, Mechanic Helper (PC) PMT, Assistant Mechanic (PC) FS, Fitter Electrician (HC) PR, Diesel Mechanic PR & Follower Messenger PR has been uploaded on the A&N Police website https://police.andaman.gov.in along with venue, date, and time of the Written Examination of additional subjects.
