Port Blair, July 10: The Andaman Association of Tour Operators (AATO) under the distinguished leadership of President M. Vinod and Sumit Mallick made a significant mark at the 67th Travel Agents Association of India (TAAI) convention held in Colombo from July 6 to July 8. The convention, attended by prominent industry professionals from India and Sri Lanka proved to be a hub of networking, knowledge exchange and partnership building.

The convention commenced with a grand opening ceremony featuring distinguished guests, including Sri Lankan President Ranil Wickremesinghe and High Commissioner of India Gopal Baglay.

More than 500 participants, including industry leaders and travel professionals from both India and Sri Lanka had the opportunity to exchange knowledge and expertise during the conference. The event facilitated networking and partnership building, fostering collaboration and mutual growth.

AATO recognizes the importance of cooperation and collaboration between India and Sri Lanka as India emerged as the largest source market for tourism to Sri Lanka last year. The TAAI Convention played a vital role in furthering this relationship and fostering a stronger bond between the two nations in the travel industry.
