Port Blair, July 18: The A&N Administration has invited online applications through Administration’s Portal: https://karmic.andaman.gov.in/chsr2023 for filling up of 488 various Group ‘B’ (NG) & Group ‘C’ Common Category Higher Secondary Level Posts in different Departments under A & N Administration, scheduled to be held on 23.07.2023 (Sunday) in a single shift from 10.00 AM to 12.00 PM [In case of VH & Cerebral Palsy candidates extra 40 minutes shall be provided] vide Vacancy Notice No. 4-12/2023-R&E Cell dated 26.05.2023. The Written Examination (1stPhase) centres have been set up right from Campbell Bay in South to Diglipur in the North. The Examination Centre and time of Examination have suitably been indicated in each online Admit Card itself.

The A & N Administration have once again requested all the candidates who have registered online applications for various Group ’B’ (NG) & Group ’C’ Common Category Higher Secondary Level Posts to download their Admit Cards and Instructions on https://karmic.andaman.gov.in/chsr2023 and also adhere to the following pre-examination instructions: -

1) Candidate shall report the Centre well in advance before 2 (Two) hours from the commencement of examination to reach centre given in the Admit Card and avoid any crowding at the centre at the time of commencement of examination.

2) No Candidate should adopt any unfair means or indulge in any unfair examination practices as the examination centres are under surveillance of CCTV and equipped with Jammers.

3) The PwBD candidate must bring PwBD certificate issued by the Competent Authority, if claiming Scribe/extra time under PwBD category must also carry his/ her own and scribe Self Declaration (Undertaking) regarding educational qualification, etc., passport size photograph, valid government identity. The PwBD candidates who have obtained certificate regarding physical limitation for an examinee to write from the Chief Medical Officer/Civil Surgeon/Medical Superintendent of Government Health Care Institution must also bring her/his Own Scribe to be present a day in advance to the Centre Superintendent to certify himself /herself.

4) Candidate must carry “Any one of the original and valid Photo Identification Proof issued by the government” – PAN/Driving License/Voter ID/Aadhar/Islander Card with Photo and necessary blue/black ballpoint pen would be allowed within the complex of the Examination Centre. All other ID/Photocopies of IDs even if attested/scanned photo of IDs in mobile phone will NOT be considered as valid ID Proof.

5) The candidates name misspelled, incorrect Date of Birth and different photograph uploaded in the Admit Card are provisionally accepted with proper authentic proof in original to be shown to the Centre Superintendent to certify himself /herself to appear in the written examination.

6) The candidates photograph is not correctly uploaded in the Admit Card are hereby directed to bring additional three recent photographs at the respective examination centre along with Identity proof.

7) Candidates are suggested to visit the examination venue, a day in advance to see the arrangements at the centre so that, they do not face any problem on the day of examination. If religion/customs require you to wear specific attire, please visit centre early for thorough checking.

8) No Candidate would be allowed to enter the Examination Centre, without Admit Card, Valid ID Proof.

9) Mobile Phones or any kind of electronic gadgets/devices are strictly prohibited within the complex of the Examination Centre.

10) Candidate shall also refer Admit Card Instructions for more details.

11) Violating of any norms and instructions in any extent shall be viewed seriously beside Police action.
