Port Blair, July 19: Andaman & Nicobar Islands Institute of Medical Sciences (ANIIMS), Port Blair has been approved 114 MBBS seats by Ministry of Health & Family welfare (MoHFW), Govt. of India and Andaman & Nicobar Administration for the academic year 2023-24.

NEET-2023 qualified students will be admitted through All India quota counseling and state quota counseling. Out of total approved 114 seats,17 seats of All India quota will be filled by online counseling by Medical Counseling Committee (MCC), and rest of the 97 seats will be admitted under state quota (10 EWS plus 87 Category seat).

The Applications will be invited from NEET eligible candidates for admission to ANIIMS, the applicants can apply through Common Admission online Portal (www.collegeadmission.andaman.gov.in)

Only NEET-2023 qualified students from Andaman and Nicobar Islands can apply for above mentioned 97 seats of state quota. Remaining 17 seats of All India quota will be filled by online counseling by Medical Counseling Committee (MCC).

The tentative timeline for the admission process is as follows: -

Submission of duly filled application form starts on 21st July, 2023 from 10.00 am

Last date of submission of application form - 28thJuly, 2023

Publication of Provisional merit list   - 29^th July, 2023 at 5.00pm

Appeal & Grievance - 31^st July, 2023 till 5.00pm

Display of Final Merit list -  01^st August, 2023 at 5.00pm

01^st Round of Counseling & verification of documents - 03^rd August & 04^th August 2023 from 9.00am onwards

Last date of joining - 08^th August, 2023

02^nd Round of Counseling & verification of documents - 27^th August, 2023 from 9.00am onwards

Last date of joining - 1^st September, 2023

Mop up Counseling - 10^th September, 2023

Last Date of Joining - 15^th September, 2023

Commencement of Academic Session for the MBBS year 2023-24 - 01^st September, 2023
