Port Blair, July 25: In a letter addressed to the Chief Secretary, A & N Administration, the ANTCC President, Shri. Rangalal Halder with deep concern highlighted the issues arising due to the non-functioning of the Dialysis Machine at the Community Health Centre, Rangat.

He stated that the Patients who heavily rely on these machines for regular dialysis treatments are currently facing several difficulties as the situation becomes worse and further the patients are departing at Diglipur and Port Blair to get an effective dialysis treatment.

Halder said, "It is crucial to prioritize the well-being of the patients and provide them with the best possible care to ensure that patients can resume their treatments without any further delay".

He has also mentioned that over the past one month, most of the patients have lost their lives due to non-functioning of the dialysis machine at Rangat, resulting in disruptions to the dialysis services as the malfunction poses a significant risk to the patients.

He has further requested to direct the Medical Administration to dispatch a team of technicians to assess the repair or replacement of the dialysis machine as soon as possible.
