Port Blair, Aug 3: The Bambooflat Police in a well-coordinated operation conducted on 27/07/2023, recovered cannabis and a cannabis plant, leading to the arrest of the involved person. During the operation, Inspr. K Abdul Nasir, SHO, PS Bambooflat with his raiding team discovered the cannabis plant and uprooted and seized the cannabis plant, which was being cultivated discreetly, followed by the seizure of 01 No. cannabis plant. Further upon interrogation, the accused person disclosed the fact that some quantity of Ganja was kept in his house. Based on the disclosure, the raiding team went to the house of the accused, where 01 No. white colour plastic polythene bag containing illicit Ganja of 50 grams was recovered.

Acting on reliable intelligence, the police executed a meticulously planned operation to target a suspected illicit cannabis cultivation. The operation was done by a team of dedicated officers comprising of Inspr. K. Abdul Nasir SHO, PS Bambooflat, HC/ R. K Rathore, HC/ Ashok Roy, PC/ S. Shiva, LPC/ Molina & Ct/428 M. Mohd. Basheer under the supervision of Shri Arshdeep Panwar (DANIPS), SDPO Bambooflat.
