Port Blair, Aug 11: Smt AR Sindhu, National Secretary, CITU and Shri P. Krishnaprasad, Finance Secretary, All India Kisan Sabha will be reaching Port Blair on 12th August, 2023 for a 4-day visit to Andaman & Nicobar Islands. She is also the General Secretary of the All India Federation of Anganwadi Workers & Helpers.
During their stay in the islands, AR Sindhu and P. Krishnaprasad will attend a State Level Convention on Restoration of Old Pension Scheme to be organized by the Non-Gazetted Govt. Officers’ Association at 10 a.m. on 12th August, 2023 at Andhra Association Hall, Port Blair. They will also attend the Trade Union Convention on Anti-Worker and Anti-Farmer Policies of the Central Government, to be organized by the CITU A & N State Committee at 3 p.m. on 12th August, 2023 also at Andhra Association Hall, Port Blair.
On 13th August, 2023 at 10 a.m, Smt AR Sindhu will address the General Body meeting of the Andaman & Nicobar Anganwadi Workers & Helpers Association at Kerala Samajam Hall, Port Blair. In the afternoon, she will also interact with the members of Andaman & Nicobar ASHA Workers Union.
AR Sindhu and P. Krishnaprasad will address the participants in the Mass Dharna to be organized by the CITU in support of the nation-wide “Midnight Vigil to Freedom” at Tiranga Park, Port Blair on 14th August, 2023 from 5.30 p.m. to 11 p.m.
During their stay in the islands, Smt AR Sindhu and Shri P. Krishnaprasad will visit various historical places at Port Blair town and rural South Andaman areas. On completion of the tour, they will return to Delhi on 16th August, 2023.
