Port Blair, Aug 16: The Andaman & Nicobar Territorial Congress Committee under the leadership of its President Shri. Rangalal Halder and Chairman, Campaign Committee Shri. TSG Bhasker celebrated the 77th Independence Day of India at the Premises of Gandhi Bhawan, Port Blair.
On this occasion, the National Flag was hoisted in front of Gandhi Bhawan by Shri. Rangalal Halder and the Congress leaders raised patriotic slogans. Sweets were also distributed later on.
Congress party leaders commemorated this Day with fervor and zeal at the party office. The atmosphere was charged with patriotic spirit as the leaders gathered to honor the historic occasion.
The Congress leaders acknowledged the sacrifice of the freedom fighters who laid down their lives for our independence.
