Port Blair, Aug 18: CPI (M) has demanded to issue appointment orders to all the selected candidates on the basis of the written tests conducted by the concerned departments recently. In a letter sent to the Chief Secretary, Andaman and Nicobar Administration, D. Ayyappan, Secretary, CPI (M) A & N State Organising Committee brought to his notice that various departments under the Andaman & Nicobar Administration and Recruitment Cell of the Secretariat have conducted written tests for filling up various categories of posts during the last few months. Results of such recruitment examinations were also published by the concerned departments and Recruitment Cell of the Administration.

CPI (M) Secretary told the Chief Secretary that none of the departments which conducted the written examination and completed the selection process has issued the appointment orders to the selected candidates. Selected candidates for the posts of LGC, Stenographer, Junior Engineer in APWD, etc. are eagerly waiting to get their appointment orders.

Ayyappan stated in the letter that there is no justification for delaying the appointment of the selected candidates. He urged the Chief Secretary to direct the authorities concerned to issue appointment orders to the selected candidates without any further delay.
