Port Blair, Aug 20: The Andaman Nicobar Territorial Congress Committee commemorated the 79th Birth Anniversary of Late. Rajiv Gandhi, Former Prime Minister of India and a visionary leader who played a significant role in shaping India's modern trajectory, on the 20th of August 2023 at Gandhi Bhawan, Port Blair.
On this occasion, the ANTCC President Shri. Rangalal Halder garlanded the portrait of Shri. Rajiv Gandhi which was followed by floral tributes by all Congress leaders comprising the Hon'ble Member of Parliament Shri. Kuldeep Rai Sharma, AICC member, Shri. G. Ganeshan, ANTCC Spokesperson, City Congress Committee, Congress Seva Dal, Mahila Congress, Senior Leaders of Congress Party, OBC Chairman ANTCC, PRI Members, PBMC Councilors and All other party workers present.
After paying tributes to Rajiv Gandhi, a Sadbhavana pledge was administered to promote harmony and goodwill among the diverse communities of India for peace, communal harmony and social integration.
