Port Blair, Aug 27: The Science Centre, Port Blair will be igniting the curiosity and scientific temperament of young minds in the field of Space Technology by organizing the screening of Chandrayaan-3 lunar soft landing mission. India’s Chandrayaan-3 made soft landing on South Pole of Moon’s surface on 23rd August, 2023.  To celebrate this occasion, a 15 days event targeted for the students studying in class VI to VIII is being arranged by the Centre which will commence from 1st September, 2023 from 10 am to 12 noon and continue till 15th September, 2023 coinciding with the Birth Anniversary of Sir Vishweswaraya, the great eminent Indian Engineer. The event will allow students to witness the gripping landing sequence of Chandrayaan-3’s remarkable journey and its significance in the realm of space exploration.

The Science Centre shall provide bus services for mobility of the students right from their respective school.
