Port Blair, Aug. 31: PRAYAS JAC celebrated Onam with the inmates of the District Jail. Mr. K. Vijay Kumar volunteering for PRAYAS and Shri. Mohd Haneefa, Jailor graced the occasion.

The Jailor appreciated the efforts of PRAYAS and said that it was first of its kind that such an activity was organised in the jail. He said that he is looking forward to such activities in the future too.

Mr. K. Vijay Kumar motivated the inmates and asked them to actively participate in all the activities being arranged for their wellbeing. A Rangoli competition was also organised on the occasion. The celebration concluded with a vote of thanks proposed by Ms. Marya Sheela.
