On the auspicious occasion of 'Gandhi Jayanti' on 2nd October, 2023, I extend my warm greetings to all the residents of A&N Islands.
The Father of our Nation Mahatma Gandhiji's life was an epitome of selflessness, sacrifice, and unwavering dedication to truth and non-violence. His philosophy of non-violence ignited the flame that led our nation towards independence. Let us strive to emulate his values, fostering unity, understanding, and empathy among all our diverse communities.
On this occasion, I wish that our Islands continue to progress on the path of happiness and prosperity, while observing the values of truth and non-violence.
