Port Blair, Oct. 2: It is a proud moment again for the Islanders as two more young chess players from A & N Islands viz. S M Dinesh Kumar and A Divesh, both class IX students VKV Lambaline Port Blair have achieved their international Chess Rating as per the latest International Rating list published on 30th September 2023 by the World Chess Federation (FIDE).
These chess players recently participated in the 52nd National Junior (under 19) Chess Championship 2023 held in Ahmedabad, Gujarat from 20th to 28th September 2023 and performed pretty well that led them to open the International Rating.
