Port Blair, Oct. 8: A & N State Under - 9 Chess Championship cum Selection trial for the 36th National under - 9 Chess Championship 2023 was conducted by Andaman Nicobar Chess Association at ANCA Chess Centre, Dairy Farm, today (08.10.2023).
Around 40 young chess players participated in the selection championship with great enthusiasm in which the following chess players have been selected as per the final standings of the Championship to represent A & N Islands in the upcoming 36th National Under -09 Chess Championships–2023 scheduled to be held in Jamshedpur, Jharkhand from 2nd to 8th November 2023.

Shri. Puroshotham Kishen, the founder of Career Quest Coaching Center Port Blair graced the occasion as the chief guest for the closing ceremony while Shri. Shailender Singh JE APWD was the Guest of Honour. They gave away Trophies to the winners and conveyed their best wishes to the selected players for the upcoming Under 09 Nationals.
