Port Blair, Jan 30: In a commendable display of vigilance and dedication, 03 local fishermen Shri Shasanko Sarkar, Sukranjan Mistry and Dinabandhu Mondal from Swaraj Dweep apprehended four foreign Myanmarese poachers from Henry Lawrence Island on the 29th of January and handed over to the Police for legal action. This significant achievement highlights the success of continuous motivation and instructions provided to the local fishermen by the police through Fisherman Watch Group meetings.
