Port Blair, Feb 11: The delegation of Andaman & Nicobar Rajya Karmachari Mahasangh (ANRKM) of Bharatiya Mazdoor Sangh on the advice of Dr. Jitendra Singh, Hon’ble Minister of State (DoPT) met Shri. Himanshu Sharma, IAS, Personal Secretary to MoS (DoPT) to present the issues pertaining to working classes of A&N Islands.
The detailed presentation of the matter of regularisation of DRMs was presented by Shri. S. Biju Pillai, General Secretary, ANKRM. The documents of Court verdict and the concurrence of DoPT with the approval of Ministry of Home Affairs. Further, the constitution of Andaman Nicobar Cadre, were also discussed in length.
Shri. Himanshu Sharma, IAS gone through the relevant documents and conveyed that a joint meeting with Division of UT in consultation with Joint Secretary (UT) will be carried out and in coming week as the Parliament Session is going on and various bills from MHA is presenting in the table and the concerned officers are busy with that assignment.
Rajya Karmachari Mahasangh is working in the principles of Bharatiya Mazdoor Sangh to safeguard the interest of working class at all levels. The main thing is to sort out the issues by the mode of discussion, presentation eradicating the differences between the employee and employer. The efforts of Delhi tour is a first step towards the sorting out of issues and arriving at a positive end. The entire committee of ANRKM and its affiliated units are expressing gratitude to Shri. Vishal Jolly ji to work out for a solution on the issue. The meeting with Ministry officials will continue and the gap between the Employee and Ministry will be reduced to minimum level for the interest of working class. Shri. Jaydeep Kr. Dey, President ANRKM expressed gratitude to Shri. Himanshu Sharma, IAS for sparing such a long time and paving a path to conclude the issues.
