Port Blair, Feb 25: The Andaman and Nicobar Police have initiated a groundbreaking effort to counter cyber threats through a unified strategy. In our commitment to nurture a robust environment against cybercrimes, we extend an invitation to the residents of A&N Islands to actively participate as Cyber Volunteers. In today's interconnected world, cyber threats loom large, posing significant risks to individuals, businesses, and national security.

The success of this program relies on collective efforts, and the A&N Police is eager to establish a united front against the escalating menace of cybercrime, promoting a collaborative approach to prevention and mitigation. We encourage the residents of A&N Islands to come forward and contribute to this vital mission by becoming Cyber Volunteers, playing a crucial role in preventing, detecting, and mitigating cybercrimes within their communities.

Specifically, we are seeking individuals to serve as Unlawful Content Flaggers and Cyber Awareness Promoters. Unlawful Content Flaggers will assist in identifying and reporting illicit online content, thus safeguarding our digital environment. Concurrently, Cyber Awareness Promoters will raise awareness about cybersecurity best practices, empowering fellow citizens to navigate the digital world safely and responsibly.

Forms are available at nearest nearest Police Station and Cyber Crime Police Station. Together, we can construct a safer and more resilient digital ecosystem for A&N Islands and beyond. Join us in our mission to create a safer cyberspace. 29.02.2024 is the last date for submission of form.
