Port Blair, March 24: The Nagarpalika Shramik Sangh has organised a mass demonstration in front of the Port Blair Municipal Council Head Office at Aberdeen Bazar, Port Blair on 22.03.2024 afternoon demanding (1) regularization of services of daily rated mazdoors and (2) grant of 1/30th of pay plus DA to the remaining workers of PBMC.
A large number of workers of Port Blair Municipal Council attended the programme.
Surendran Pillai, President, CITU State Committee, SP Kalairajan, General Secretary, Nagarpalika Shramik Sangh and P. Sathyapal, Secretary, CITU State Committee, Anand Rajan, Treasurer and M. Yugander, Secretary, CITU State Committee addressed the gathering. Sreenu Babu and Venkat Rao, ASNVMS leaders also were present.
