DGP Devesh Chandra Calls on Probationers to Strive for Excellence

Port Blair, April 22: The Police Training School, Prothrapur witnessed a momentous occasion today on 22/04/2024, as Probationer Sub-Inspectors, PMT (Police Motor Transport) of Andaman & Nicobar Police took their oath in a solemn ceremony, symbolizing the culmination of their rigorous training and unwavering dedication.

Shri. Devesh Chandra Srivastva, IPS, Director General of Police, Andaman & Nicobar Islands graced the occasion with his august presence as the Chief Guest of the ceremony. Smti. Sindhu Pillai. A, IPS, Inspector General of Police, Andaman & Nicobar Islands, Smti. Monika Bhardwaj, IPS, DIGP (Training), other Senior Officers of A & N Police and the proud family members of the trainees attended the function.

Shri. Devesh Chandra Srivastva, IPS, Director General of Police, Andaman & Nicobar Islands delivered an inspiring address, encouraging the Probationer Sub-Inspectors of PMT to strive for excellence, as they embark on their journey of becoming dedicated and sincere police personnel of professional and dedicated A&N Police.

On the occasion, the Principal (PTS) Shri Manjeet Sheoran, IPS administered the oath to the Probationer Sub-Inspectors (PMT) in the presence of esteemed dignitaries. Out of the Batch of 06 Probationer Sub-Inspectors of PMT, PSI Dishant Prasad (PMT) secured All Round Best Position and he has been awarded with Commendation Certificate, Trophy and Cash Prize by the Chief Guest Shri. Devesh Chandra Srivastva, IPS, Director General of Police, Andaman & Nicobar Islands.

This ceremony marks the beginning of a new chapter for these dedicated Sub-Inspectors of PMT, ready to serve the community, with the highest standards of professionalism and integrity.
