Port Blair, April 23: On 15.04.2024, Sh. Subhajit Basu, Hon’ble Special Judge under POCSO Act, North & Middle Andaman District, Mayabunder delivered a significant judgment in the PS Kadamtala case FIR No. 16/2023 dated 22.05.2024, U/s 6 of POCSO Act, 2012, sentencing the accused Rupesh Beck to 10 years of rigorous imprisonment.

The court's decision to impose a 10-year sentence of rigorous imprisonment on Rupesh Beck reflects the seriousness of the offense and serves as a strong warning against such unacceptable acts. It sends a clear message to society that those who commit crimes against children will be held accountable and faces severe consequences for their actions.

The investigating officer in this case, Sub Inspector Silipi Singha worked diligently under the guidance of SI Abdul Rehman then SHO PS Kadamatala, with overall supervision by Smt.
