Maybunder, May 14: The Revenue Officials of North & Middle Andaman District have successfully completed the sixth day of the ongoing encroachment eviction drive, restoring public lands to Government ownership and reclaiming valuable resources for community benefit.

Since its inception on 8th May, 2024, the encroachment eviction drive led by the Revenue Officials has been instrumental in identifying and reclaiming Government-owned lands unlawfully occupied by encroachers. With a focus on restoring these lands to their rightful status under Government khata, the drive has made significant progress in upholding the rule of law and promoting transparent governance.

On the sixth day of the operation, the Revenue Officials have evicted 11000 Sq. Mtrs in the form of Arecanut and Banana Plantation at Shyamnagar, Diglipur and 3500 Sq. Mtrs of land at Kadamtala village and restored it to Govt. Khata. Through systematic planning and rigorous enforcement measures, the teams successfully restored several parcels of land to Government khata, ensuring their utilization for public welfare projects and infrastructural development.
