Port Blair, May 27: The Andaman Nicobar Territorial Congress Committee (ANTCC) today observed the 60th Death Anniversary of the First Prime Minister of India Late. Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru at Gandhi Bhavan, Port Blair.

The ANTCC President, Shri Rangalal Halder led the commemorations by garlanding the portrait of Nehru, followed by floral tributes by the Chairman Campaign Committee ANTCC Shri. TSG Bhasker, AICC Member Shri. Sunder Rao, ANTCC Spokesperson Shri. Tamil Selvan, Congress Seva Dal Chief Organizer, Shri. T. Wajith and its Member Shri. Mohd. Fahim, Mahila Coordinator (South Andaman) Smt. Zubaida Begum, Youth Congress Vice President Shri. Abhibhusan Ghosh, Congress Leaders Shri. Gandhi Raj, Shri. Sadab Riaz, Shri. KT Nambi and others.

Addressing the gathering, Shri Halder recalled the remarkable achievements and contributions of Pandit Nehru to the nation. He highlighted Nehru’s pivotal role in shaping modern India and his enduring legacy as a visionary leader.
