Port Blair, May 29: The Department of Labour, A & N Administration, in alignment with the Ease of Doing Business & Digital India initiatives and with a view to facilitate the employers of Shops and Establishment located in the Nicobar District, the entire process of issuance of Certification of Registration/Renewal under the A&N Islands Shops & Establishments Regulation, 2004 has been made online and it will be accessible from May 30, 2024. 

With this, the entire process of issuance of Certification of Registration/Renewal of Shops & Establishments located in all three Districts in A & N Islands has been switched to online mode.

Therefore, all employers of shops and establishments located in the A&N Islands have been requested to submit their applications for new registrations/renewals by visiting the website https://labour.and.nic.in/labour/. The employers may submit their applications by visiting the nearest Common Service Centre (CSC) or through their own resources. The employers can also view the status of their applications on this website. Upon approval, the employers can conveniently make online fee payments and download the certificate without a physical visit to the office. Instructions for making online fee payments are also available on the mentioned website.
