Port Blair, June 3: A final briefing session was held for the Micro Observers in the conference hall of DBRAIT today on the counting of votes for General Elections- 2024 which will be held at the Counting Centre, JNRM tomorrow (June 4).

Initiating the briefing, the General Observer, ANIPC, Shri Brajesh Narain Singh IAS, enlightened the Micro Observers on their roles and responsibilities. He emphasized the importance of a meticulous examination of the counting process and urged the Micro Observers to work efficiently, ensuring accuracy and avoiding errors while noting down the round wise results during the counting process.

The General Observer instructed the Micro Observers to accomplish their roles & responsibilities maintaining utmost patience and urged them to oversee a fair and transparent counting process. He also wished them the best for the upcoming counting process tomorrow.

Speaking on the occasion, the Returning Officer, ANIPC, Shri Arjun Sharma, IAS, said that the Micro Observers are the eyes of the General Observer at the Counting Centre and they will be deployed in all the Counting Tables and Postal Ballot Counting table. He urged them to execute their assigned roles with utmost sincerity &responsibility.

Earlier, the Nodal Officer (Manpower), Shri Anand Vardhan Mishra briefed about the important role of Micro Observers on the day of Counting.
