Port Blair, June 9: In an important and ground breaking achievement, the four major Police Stations i.e. Police Station Crime and Economic Offence, Police Station Anti- Human Trafficking Unit, Cyber Crime Police Station and Anti-Narcotics Police Station have received the prestigious ISO 9001:2015 Certification issued by the Assurance Quality Certification LLC, UAE.

Through its consistent efforts to standardize, improve professionalism, and ensure citizen safety, the CID Unit has earned this global certification. This reflects the dedication and hard work of the CID staff in enhancing efficiency, boosting public satisfaction, and delivering reliable, citizen-focused services.

The ISO 9001:2015 Certification stands as an authentication to the CID Unit's commitment to maintaining standard quality management systems and demonstrates their pursuit of excellence. The certification process has been meticulously overseen by the SHOs of Police Station Crime and Economic Offence, Police Station Anti- Human Trafficking Unit, Cyber Crime Police Station and Anti-Narcotics Police Station under the supervision of Shri. Kumar Abhishek, DANIPS, Dy.SP (CID), Shri. Vishesh Dhatterval, DANIPS, Dy.SP (Narcotics), Shri. Lakshay Pandey, DANIPS, Dy.SP (Cyber Crime) and under the overall supervision of Shri Rajeev Ranjan IPS, SP CID.

After all jurisdictional Police Stations of Andaman & Nicobar Police getting ISO certified, all the four Police Stations of Specialised Units of CID have also followed suit and have achieved the milestone of ISO certification.
