Port Blair, June 30: Sunni Students Federation (SSF) Andaman organized a bike rally from Panighat to Wimberleygunj on 30th June, 2024 to mark International Drug Awareness Day. The rally, aimed at promoting a drug-free society, saw participation from local youth and community leaders. Starting at 3:00 pm from Panighat, the bikers carried banners and placards spreading messages of drug prevention.

PA Muhammed Safwan, P Muhammed Mansoor, Secretaries, SSF Andaman and K Muhammed Shabeeb, Member, SSF addressed the public at Bambooflat, Stewargunj, and Wimberleygunj junctions. They spoke about the rising drug usage in our islands, and highlighted the responsibility of all citizens in ensuring the creation of a drug free society.

Several people attentively listened to the speeches and responded with appreciation for the initiative. The event concluded at Wimberleygunj with informative sessions. The rally successfully raised awareness about drug abuse and fostered community solidarity. SSF Andaman, with its motto of "Moral Revolution", remains dedicated to creating a safer, healthier future. SSF plans to conduct similar sensitisation programmes in various institutions across the islands.
