Accompanied by esteemed members of the police force, including Shri. Ajay Krishan Sharma, IPS, DIGP (HQ), Smti. Monika Bhardwaj, IPS, DIGP (Training), Smti. Varsha Sharma, IPS, DIGP (L&O), Shri. Manjeet Sheoran, IPS, Principal (PTS), and Shri. M.K. Shukla, DANIPS, Vice Principal (PTS), the session aimed to prepare the recruits for their crucial roles in maintaining law and order in the region.

Port Blair, March 7: Consumers Co-operative Stores Ltd. (CCS) received two awards at West Bengal Distributors convention. The award includes first position for the highest sale of 5Kg FTL (Chhotu) cylinders and second prize for the highest release of 5KG mixed DBC connections.      

Shri Abdul Siddique, Secretary CCS Ltd. and Shri Sanjay Singh, Director CCS Ltd, received the award at Sterling Resort, Darjeeling.

Port Blair, March 7: In a significant move towards improving police efficiency, Shri. Devesh Chandra Srivastva, IPS, Director General of Police, A&N Islands inaugurated an important initiative towards by digitalization N&M Andaman district Police virtually today.

The DGP inaugurated E-Malkhana system across all Police Stations of the North & Middle Andaman District. The E-Malkhana system introduces digitalization to the management of case properties stored at malkhanas of Police Stations. With the implementation of this system, accessing details of case properties stored at the police malkhana becomes more efficient and convenient. Through the use of QR codes, authorized personnel can easily retrieve information about case properties with a simple scan. This streamlined approach not only improves accessibility but also enhances transparency and accountability in the handling of case properties.
