Mayabunder, Oct. 15: The Department of Agriculture Organized Rabi Campaign with Agriculture Technology Management Agency on 14/10/2023 at Govindnagar Community Hall, under Mayabunder block. During the programme Mr Daniel Antony, Agriculture Assistant on behalf of Assistant Director (Agri), Mayabunder briefed about the Department’s ongoing Schemes - Plan Scheme, Centrally Sponsored Scheme, Prime Minister’s Flagship Programme, PMKisan, PM Maan Dhan Yojana, Ghar Ghar KCC, Soil Health Card, PMFBY, RKVY, e- KYC, Seed Treatment, Awareness on Millets, MSP of Copra, Promotion of Natural Farming etc.

Port Blair, Oct. 15: As part of Ayushman Bhavah campaign, the District Health Society, South Andaman under National Health Mission conducted Ayushman Bhavah Health Camp at CHC Bambooflat today in coordination with Andaman & Nicobar Islands Institute of Medical Science (ANIIMS) & Directorate of Health Services, A&N Administration. The health consultation / screening was provided to around 112 patients by specialists in Medicine, Gynaecology, Paediatrics, Surgery, ENT & Ophthalmology.

Mayabunder, Oct. 15: The Department of Agriculture in association with Union Territory Agriculture Technology Management Agency (UTATMA) celebrated Mahila Kisan Diwas based on theme ‘Sustainable Agriculture through Gender Inclusion and Participation’ today at Karmatang Community Hall, Mayabunder. Smti. Mary Clostica, Panchayat Samiti Member and Resource Person of Self Help Group was the chief guest on the occasion. Speaking on the occasion, she appreciated the Department for celebrating the day in their village and urged to avail benefits of various agriculture and allied sector schemes. The programme was also graced by Smti. Naw Ahtho and Smti Naw Thomaytoo, senior citizens of Karmatang village.
