Pot Blair, Mar. 8: The vessel Nalanda will sail from Port Blair to Kolkata via Mayabunder and Diglipur on 11.03.2024 at 0800 hrs at Haddo Wharf. Excess baggage will be loaded from 1400 hrs to 1600 hrs on 10.03.2024. The excess baggage/cargo is required to be booked in advance at Commercial Wing, DSS. Embarkation of passengers will commence from 0600 hrs on 11.03.2024. The embarkation of passengers will be closed one hour before the schedule time. Passengers reporting late will not be allowed to board the vessel.

 

Port Blair, March 7: The United States Coast Guard Cutter Bertholf entered Port Blair harbour on 07 Mar 24, after covering more than 16,000 Kms, for a joint exercise with Indian Coast Guard. On arrival the USCG ship was formally welcomed by Inspector General Neraj Tiwari, TM, Commander Coast Guard Region, Andaman & Nicobar on behalf of DG Rakesh Pal, AVSM, PTM, TM, Director General Indian Coast Guard.

Port Blair, Mar. 8: The general public and consumers of the Electricity Department have been informed that, on Mar. 9, there will be power outages in the Port Blair town area between 8am and 2 pm in connection with the urgent rectification of the faulty Zebra-II Tie Line at Prem Nagar junction.

Shukla, DANIPS, Vice Principal (PTS), the session aimed to prepare the recruits for their crucial roles in maintaining law and order in the region.
