Port Blair, Oct. 20: The South Andaman District Police has solved a theft case and apprehended one juvenile delinquent by Special Juvenile Police Officer of Police Station Pahargaon with stolen cash of Rs. 1,65,000/- from the residence of the Juvenile in Conflict with Law.

On 04/10/2020, a complaint about theft of Rs. 2,35,000/- from M/s DK Enterprises, Pathergudda was reported at PS Pahargaon. On receipt of complaint, immediately a team comprising of SI Shubham Ghosh, ASI Surya Narayan, Head Constable Raja, Constables M. Santosh Kumar, Bipul Halder, Nanak Singh, Ashok and Rajesh headed by Insp. D. Jagdishwar Rao, SHO PS Pahargaon swung into action. Thorough checking and intense interrogation of all suspected persons resulted in apprehension of a Juvenile delinquent who was involved in the crime. He was apprehended by the Special Juvenile Police officer of PS Pahargaon and the stolen amount was recovered from the residence of the Juvenile in Conflict with Law.

The entire efforts were made under the supervision of Shri. Narra Chaitanya, IPS, SDPO (South Andaman) and under the overall direction & supervision of Shri. Ravi Kumar Singh, IPS, Superintendent of Police, South Andaman District.
