Port Blair, Nov. 11: A National webinar was conducted by Directorate of Health Services and Andaman & Nicobar AYUSH Society on 10th November 2020 with the theme – Ayurveda for COVID-19 pandemics. The Chief Guest of the webinar was Mrs. Kriti Garg, IAS, Secretary Health, NAM/NHM advised about Ayurvedic lifestyle and wellbeing during this Corona pandemic.
The Guest of honour Dr. Omkar Singh, DHS, A&N Administration advised to follow Ayurveda to prevent diseases and improve your immunity.
The Webinar was coordinated by Dr. Kalyan P. Kadhbane (DD AYUSH) and Dr. Rekha, Specialist, Ayurveda (NO Ayurveda day). Around 60 doctors registered and participated for the webinar from different states of India. Experts form National Institute of India, Jaipur, All India Institute of Ayurveda, New Delhi and Maharashtra graced the occasion. The Webinar concluded with a vote of thanks by Dr. M. A. Jawed, Medical Officer I/c, Homoeo & Deputy Director I/c (AYUSH).
