Revised Charges to be Applicable from 7th December
Port Blair, Dec. 6: In view of the steady decrease in the number of positive cases and to make the testing charges affordable to everyone for the Rapid Antigen Test (RAT)/RTPCR being conducted on passengers who intend to proceed to inter islands, by any mode of transport (Heli/ship/ATR) will be Rs.200/- henceforth.
The passengers arriving at airport will be charged at Rs.500/- for the same tests. However, patients arriving from mainland after treatment alongwith their attenders are exempted from payment.
The revised charges will be applicable with effect from 07.12.2020 and the validity of the tests will be for 03 days. The District Administration appeals to the general public for their cooperation in the fight against COVID-19 pandemic.
