Port Blair, Dec. 13: A delegation of Andaman Chamber of Commerce & Industry (ACCI) led by Shri Surendra Prahladka, President; Shri K. Chandrasekar, Vice President; Shri G. Dhinakaran, General Secretary and Shri Girish Arora, Former President met the Hon’ble Union Minister of State for Home Affairs, Shri Nityanand Rai, at Raj Niwas, yesterday.
The delegation appraised the Minister about the post Covid-19 scenario and various initiatives taken by A&N Administration. They also mentioned about the main challenges in different sectors and suggested special relief packages considering the peculiar circumstances prevailing in these Islands due to remote location of our islands which causes several hindrances in the timely completion of infrastructure projects as well as the implementation of various government schemes.
The Minister gave a patient hearing and assured all possible action will be taken in resolving the issues raised by the Chamber.
