Port Blair, July 12: The Member of Parliament, Andaman & Nicobar Islands, Shri. Kuldeep Rai Sharma on 10th July 2022 inaugurated the Multipurpose Hall of Brindaban area of South Andaman, which was constructed under MPLADS funds at the cost of Rs. 54.42 Lakhs.
There was a huge demand for a Multipurpose Hall in the area for conducting social gatherings like small village functions, meetings, indoor sports activities, training programmes etc.
The Pradhan of Brindaban Gram Panchayat, Smti. Bindu Kuamri, the Executive Engineer of ALHW and a large number of the general public were present during the occasion.
Addressing the gathering the Member of Parliament said that there was a long pending demand for construction of a Multipurpose Hall in the region following which the work under MPLADS fund was sanctioned.
He hoped that the Multipurpose Hall would be of great use for the general public of the region, especially the youths of the area.
