Port Blair, Sept. 9: Jan Shikshan Sansthan (JSS) South Andaman has been actively involved in imparting vocational training in South Andaman since October 2021. JSS South Andaman recently conducted various activities from 05th to 9th of September to acknowledge the outstanding contribution of their trainers.
On 5th of September a meeting was held at the office of JSS South Andaman with the trainers, to talk over the plan of action of the new session. A discussion was held to know the problems the trainers faced in the previous session and remedies for the same.
On 6th September, the trainees of Nayaseher and Guptapara took selfies with teacher, Ms. Kamila under the campaign “Mera Teacher, Mera Hero”. Skill competition was held on the 7th of September at Hebertabad, Nayaseher and Guptapara and on 8th of September, a resource person Ms. Salima spoke to the new trainees at Herberabad about the opportunities the trainees have after they finish a vocational training in Beauty Therapy and also demonstrated some of the techniques.
The program concluded today with the distribution of prizes for the skill competition and vote of thanks by the Program Officer at the JSS South Andaman office premises.
