Port Blair, Sept. 12: The Andaman & Nicobar Administration will be observing ‘Hindi Fortnight-2022’ from September 14 to 28, 2022 in its offices and educational institutions. As part of the observance, various programmes have been chalked out for officers, employees of the Administration and students. The programmes to be organized include Hindi essay competitions for Tamil, Telugu & Bangla medium students studying in Class 6th to 8th and Class 9th to10th of Headquarter area on Sept.15, 2022. Hindi typing competition for employees of A & N Administration on Sept.16 at Hindi Typing Training Centre of Official Language Department, Archives Building, Secretariat.
Similarly, Hindi Noting and Drafting Competitions for the employees of A & N Administration, Port Blair will be organized on Sept.19 at Tagore Govt. College, Port Blair while Hindi Noting and Drafting competitions for the employees of Multi-Tasking Staff of A & N Administration will be organized on Sept. 20 at Hindi Typing Training Centre of Official Language Department, Archives Building, Secretariat. Hindi Noting and Drafting competition for Gazetted Officers of A & N Administration will be organized on Sept. 21 at the Conference Hall of Secretariat.
On Sept. 22, a Hindi Workshop for Nodal Officer (Official Language) and dealing staff (Hindi) of various Offices of A & N Administration will be organized in the Conference Hall, Secretariat, wherein they will be informed about the Official Language policy of Govt. of India and duties and responsibilities of Nodal Officer (Official Language).
Apart from this, Elocution competition for the students studying in class 9th to10th of Senior Secondary Schools of Headquarter area will be organized on Sept.23 at Official Language Department, Archives Building, Secretariat while the Elocution competition for the students studying class 11thto 12th of Senior Secondary Schools of Headquarter area will be organized on Sept.26 at Official Language Department, Archives Building, Secretariat. Self Composed Poetry Recitation Competition for College students will be organized on Sept. 27 at Official Language Department, Archives Building, Secretariat.
